LumberJax #1-3 Destiny By Any Means

Family I cannot express to you how sorry I am about the timeline of this project. To say I’m embarrassed doesn’t do it justice to how I feel. At this moment there’s not much I can do to fix things or make it move much faster. As soon as I get the completed work in, I promise to turn things around to you guys as quickly as I possibly can.

To prayerfully make some form of amends for the nonsense endured, I plan to send a preview to another project I have in the works… literally sitting in the queue until I complete delivery for this one. Harlem #1 was the next project I had planned to be released this year. Obviously with the tremendous failures here I don’t feel right releasing our next project without fulfilling this one. For that, for your patience, and for my sincere apologies, I will make sure Harlem’s preview is in your hands when things come out for LumberJax #3.

I will also make a special tier for that project on Kickstarter that everyone who was a part of helping get this funded can take advantage of and get special perks exclusive to you guys only. Apologies don’t do enough in these situation and my anger, disappointment, and genuine angst for how my creative year has gone due to the production breakdown is deeply felt.

Please, I promise you will get your products and I pray that you love it once it hits your hands. I am so so so deeply sorry. At this present moment, based on where things are, I anticipate being at the least started shipping in January. As I get more information and pages, I’ll update the timeline for everyone. Please forgive me and I assure you this will NEVER ever happen again. That I promise you. My lesson is well learned here and this is one mistake that will never be made again.

Almost There

Hey family!

I know it’s been a while since the last update but I’m trying to spread them out so I’m not giving false hope. I wanted to wait until I could legitimately say, we’re almost there. There are about 6 pages left to finish and then letter and we should at the least be able to get the digitals into everyone’s hands in November.

I’m gonna churn everything out that I can as fast as I can. I’m so sorry for the delay y’all don’t understand. Once we fulfill on this, Harlem is right in line and will be fully done. So as soon as the Kickstarter ends we’ll be able to start fulfillment. This project held up production on some awesome projects I have coming but it’s worth the wait and I’ll make it up to you all I promise. I’m so sorry. In the meantime I’ll share a few pics of some of the new pages.

Hey family! First I know it’s been a long time since I sent an update. I apologize for that. My son has been in and out of the hospital after a 40 day hospitalization from June through July. Saying it’s been hard is a huge understatement but I still should have gotten information to you. I am so sorry and I’m going to make it up to you.

My artist and bro Guida is still working on the pages and wants to provide his best work. From the pages I have in so far they look phenomenal. I’m working with him to try to expedite things without skimping on the quality of the artwork. Veronica us knocking pages out! Sis has colored all of what we have for LumberJax #3 AND almost half of my next comic “Harlem’s Renaissance”! I will show one of the pages we have in for LumberJax #3 so I’m not providing spoilers just so you can see the quality.

To make it up to you guys I’ll take suggestions on what it is I can do to try to make this up to you. I can’t stand the fact we are so late on delivery for this and I would absolutely hate to lose your support due to it. You all mean the world to me and I hate to disappoint you. I had ideas to send you free posters with every physical order, early access to a 5 page preview for Harlem #1 digitally that only you will see, a special tier in my next campaign for everybody who backed this campaign and stuck through this with me for special features on Harlem #1 that only you will have. Let me know. Im so sorry again, I really am. I will give a timeline on delivery as soon as I can accurately and assuredly make it definitive.

For those who already filled out their survey on BackerKit, thank you. I haven’t charged cards yet because we only had 80% turn in their survey AND because we’re so behind on delivery. Let me know if it’s a problem to be holding off and you’d rather I go ahead and charge them or wait until I have a clear timeline on when we will be able to deliver. I assure you your stuff will come and it will have extra with it to show my apologies.

Progress on Comic

Hello family! A few updates ago I know I updated everyone that we may be a little behind the original ship date. This was due to my bro and the artist for the project Giacomo Guida having Covid and needing time to recover. He’s made great progress on pages but the pages still have to be colored. 

That being said I would anticipate the shipments being ready to go out and digital copies ready by the end of August. That is my new target date based on the circumstances. Everyone will be receiving something free when things are ready to ship to prayerfully make up for the timeline having to be pushed back. 

We were supposed to launch the kickstarter for “Harlem’s Renaissaince” at the same time that we shipped out LumberJax #3. I’m pushing that launch back until I’ve fulfilled these orders for LumberJax #3. I am so sorry about this, we all know things happen and Covid has changed the lives of countless people but I still wish we could have met the deadline. 

I will make sure everyone gets a 6 Page digital preview of Harlem’s Renaissance with their order for LumberJax #3. I will have another update soon. We do also have people that still need to fill out their survey’s as well. 

As soon as I get more colored pages for LumberJax #3 I will post them in an update. Thank you all so much for believing in us and being patient. 

Two Important updates.

Hey family! I love you guys first off. Second, we are hoping to still be able to ship out all orders by the end of July but we had a snag. Our beloved artist Giacomo Guida and his wife have Covid and of course that put a dent in the schedule. We still may be able to make it. He’s feeling better day by day and working on pages. Just making sure everyone is aware of the possibility. I promise to keep you guys up to date as I get things in and can better give a good timetable.

This first bit of news makes the second bit far more urgent than id previously said. We need to get all of the surveys in so I can start placing orders for merch. The earlier I get them all in the earlier I can have the merch in house so when the pages come in the comics can be quickly packaged and shipped with the orders. With that being said, July 1rst will be the last day I’m accepting the surveys. That is to be fair to everyone else who already did theirs and so they don’t have to wait at the expense of everyone else. If the survey’s aren’t in by 12 midnight July 1, then I will move forward shipping without your order. I can’t ship to you if I don’t know what you want, the size, style, signed, or your address most importantly.
